In race to get to the top of Division 6B, We reached Knebworth cricket ground maintaining the tradition of few late comers, little did we know its gonna be a nail biting contest.

In the absence of our favourite umpire Simon, Pitchy sacrificed the game and volunteered to umpire and saved us 5 points.

No information about toss on social group and I being late, I assume we lost the toss and chose to bowl first.

Starting the attack with Charlie and Raj, pressure was on batsman from the very first ball

Early break from both ends oppo reached 15-2 off 6
Charlie strike again, 34 for 3
With next change, Barry started his spell with some nasty bouncers leaving his mark on batsman's head and got him out in same over, 88-4 at drinks, Raj-1, Charlie-2, Baz-1
Adam did a nice and controlled spell, followed by Gautam
with Magic Mike's 5fr we got oppo all out for 202.




Ebay and Dan opened the batting, adding 15 runs for 1st wicket, Dan got LBW

Ebay and Baz added 78 runs before Ebay got bowled / 93-2 off 19

Baz got out soon after scoring 34 / 102-3 off 23

Munroe brothers on crease now and things looks stable,with 41 runs parternship in 6 overs Chris got LBW / 143-4 off 29

Itty came in and scored quick 28 runs with 3 dropped catches and got out on 4th one / 175-5 off 33.2

Number 4 came on number 7 and Charlie still on crease , looks like an easy win now, famous Aldenham crash started with Charlie and Karan in 38th and 40th over followed with Gautam and Raj/ 175-5 to 195-9

All eyes were on Adam Haque and Magic mike to win this game and they didn't disappoint

Adam strokes one behind point for 4 and Wardy scored the winning runs, we won the match and topped the Div6 , Happy days
