On a pleasantly warm late May afternoon at this beautiful ground of Hertingfordbury we started with confusing parking, no umpire from oppo and Chris losing the toss

Ebay and Dush opened up the batting to a fairly stable start before Ebay was bowled by Westgate for 7 runs in 9th over.

Danny comes to join Dush, some nice shots from both taking up the total to 69 when Dush got caught off Harmer's bowling.
Another setback came soon when Ammo got run out on a shot by Danny hitting the non striker end wickets with a little touch from bowler

Chris came in and didn't wait too long to hit boundries, 23 runs parternership between Chris and Danny comes to an end when Danny got out for 34 runs taking total to 93

Basil comes to bat and with Chris and contributed 40 runs off 37 balls in a 96 run parterniship with Chris

As Chris was moving towards his century and we were looking for 300 we lost some quick wickets Itty 9, Majid 4, Raj 7.
Khurram 5(not out) supported Chris but missed century by 5 runs

once again an important batsman didn't get to bat however, Aldenham posted a solid total of 267 runs with significant contributions from C. Munroe, who remained not out at 95, and B. Letts with 40 runs.

Hertingfordbury's bowling attack was led by T. Westgate, who was the most economical with figures of 10-2-23-2.

ACC came to defend a good total with Ammo and Gautam starting the bowling attack, Quick wicket by Gautam following with a good 2nd wicket partnership oppo was on track to chase the total with 100-1 off 25
ACC was under pressure as we couldn't take any wicket until drinks
2 set batsman on pitch when Ebay and Khurram brought in to attack, A chance was created on Ebays bowling and dropped by Gautam
Desparate to take wicket, Ebay struck and took the most important wicket of Rider sending him for a ride then Khurram followed Ebay and took 3 wickets including the 2nd settled batsman
We are back in game now, Ammo and Baz returns to attack and finished the job.

The match was keenly contested, with ACC emerging victorious
