Match report A crushing defeat from the A's at Botany Bay was the outcome of the game against Hadley Wood Green CC.
The home side decided to bat first and maybe regretted his decision when Char 'no need to apologise to anybody today' Munroe took a wicket off the first ball followed up by another 2 exceptional deliveries including a trademark slower ball that deceived Hadley Wood top scorer. The whole team was up for an early tea after some fantastic bowling all round and a well spirited fielding performance meant the hosts were skittled out for a below par 95.
The reply was fast and fanatac unlike the Presidents attempt of quick single to square leg which brought an end to what looked like a good comeback having had a year out. The ever relyable (when no pressure is on) Karan Barot smashed his way to another half century which was well supported by the Chairman who managed to double his score in one over to win the game.
The whole team stayed for a well deserved pint or two which included a few dreams from a bunch of Parishoners discussing what they would do if they won the 157 million pounds Euro Millions jackpot. Fantastic!!!!
