Match report The morning after the night before greeted many of Parishionners in the form of the resurfacing of the A41, delaying the start of the match by 20 minutes.

Long Marston were batting first at their beautiful ground and Char soon made the break through. Aldenham chipped in at regular intervals with Char and Dan M picking up 3 a piece, though a rain delay meant an early tea was taken before Long Marston finished their innings at 217 all out.

Aldenham made a bit of a hash with the reply, finding themselves 15-4 before Robin and Chris M began to rebuild the Aldenham innings. Chris M made a solid looking 50 before the rains came again and with Aldenham needing another 58 runs in the next 8 overs, the game was abandoned and we retired to the bar.
