Potten End v Aldenham Cricket Club Aldenham Cricket Club on Sun 14 Sep 2014 at 1300
Aldenham Cricket Club Won by 8 wickets

Match report Aldenham took to Potten End with the early starts seeming to prove a problem with various Parishioners, but none the less Sunday Skipper Charlie won the toss and elected to field.

Unusually tight, unforgiving lines seemed to greet the All Stars like a long lost and seldom seen friend and as such Potten End could barely muster a reply in the face of this technique, often spoken about but almost never witnessed in the realms of Sunday cricket. A golden glazed Hewett picking up a 3fa and with all other bowlers chipping in with a couple each (except Levers, who was probably reliving a horrific train journey home with two of Charlie's tinder rejects) as Potten End were bowled out for 97.

The Aldenham reply got off to a steady start, with the Chairman and the Colonel putting on a show of 69 for the spectators before Simon fell. Itty soon came and went before Matt smacked the winning runs as he posted 61 as Aldenham ran out winners by 8 wickets.
