Match report A jaded looking Charlie Munroe won the toss and elected to field first on what looked like a bowler friendly wicket. The opening partnerhsip of James Bazeley and the skipper quickly had the Frogmore batsmen under pressure with some consistent bowling. Good line and length coupled with swing is always tricky to combat and soon Frogmore were really struggling at 20-4 – James Bazeley taking all the early wickets. Some innovative field placings and continued tidy bowling from Dan Knight and spin-twins Wardy and Dickie D kept Frogmore under pressure and to be honest they never looked like posting a competitive total. The only real interest revolved around whether or not James Bazeley could claim a maiden 5-for – unfortunately Matt Bazeley standing at first slip was keen to deny his son such a milestone and fumbled a hardish chance to leave James agonisingly short.

After a decent tea, the Aldenham openers set about hunting down Frogmores 97 all out. SDL raced to 2 from 10 balls before settling into a more restrained style of batting – eventually finishing the innings 11 not out from 86 balls. At the other end chaos ensued as first Baz Letts and then Chris Munroe capitalised on some loose bowling to enable Aldenham to saunter over the line and claim another Sunday win.
