Match report Losing the toss and fielding first wasn't the worst thing that could happen with the variety of bowlers Skipper Char had at his disposal. Good spells from Barot, Doughty and Knight Jnr reduced Northwood to 188-7 when skipper Hussey decided to call it a day.
An explosive start from Keeper Batsman G Ladd took the early headlines smashing 36 off 32 but tried 1 big shot too many warming the hands of an impressive Long on catch. Simon at the other end looking comfortable but middle order of Sach, Matt, Frostie, Char and Nic couldn't stick around with him so its was just fate that our specialist number 8 Mr Barot saved the day! A mature match winning innings included 12 boundaries and involved an impressive youngster to hold up the other end to stick with him. That man was Dan 'One direction fan' Knight replaced the Chairman at the crease at the start of Karans knock and between the 2 of them they notched up a partnership of 92 to win the game for a weary looking Aldenham.
