Match report The much anticipated match against old friends New Calypsonians began in earnest at the later than scheduled but no later than anticipated 2.45pm. Skipper Char and his opposite number Vince went out to complete the formality of the toss, even though it was clear who would be doing what as Aldenham elected to field first.

A solid start was made by the opening three bowlers of Munroe, Hewett and Morgan, each picking up a wicket before the spin twins Ward and Doughty were brought on, much to the delight of the Calypsonian middle order. Their spells proved as damaging to Aldenham's reserve ball count as it did to the duos averages.

New Calypsonians declared early having smashed their way to 186 off 34 overs.

Aldenham weren't quite as fluent in their reply but still bravely battled their way to within a shouting chance of an overdue win, but fell short as the spin twins enacted their revenge by seeing the team home for the draw, Karan Barot top scoring with 47.
