Match report A fine day and a soggy pitch greeted the A's as stand in skipper Tanios won the toss and elected to bat.

Aldenham gradually made their way to what would turn out to be a competitive total of 164, with Itty Haque responding to the exceptionally harsh criticism of the usual Saturday skipper by top scoring with 57.

The UCS reply got off to a slow start, but unable to break the 3rd wicket partnership who put on 91 and broke the back of the run chase before being pegged back by Char Munroe (5-39) and Colin Hewett (2-13) who dragged the game out into a much tighter contest, UCS eventually knocking off the runs with 2 overs spare.
