Aldenham Cricket Club Won by 6 wickets

Match report That painful 3rd game on tour had arrived and it was Chris 'Poker Champ' Munroe who had the pulled the short straw and had to lead the non mobiled parishioners to a historic 3rd sucessfull win on tour.
A well spirited game was helped when Char 'hit the wall' Munroe and Sen 'I'll sleep when I like' Bala were ripping through the Kingskerswell top order which was helped by a number of the players exiting the field on a number of occasions thanks to the late arrival of the WAGS McDonalds run (other fast food outlets are also available). Brief spells from Chewitt and Danny 'Bigus Dickus' Morgan (who took the wicket of Mondays traitor Simon 'catch that Char' Letts) turned the game Aldenhams way. A match winning bowling spell from Richard 'sleepy, whats the name of our hotel manager, sleepy, our chairmens name is Adrian, sleepy' Doughty, economically helped the eratic spells from Barry Letts and Karan Barot look half decent.
A must mention has to go to the ALL ROUND cricketer and skipper for the days introduction of leg spin which surley has to go down as the spell that had everything including a wicket!!!!!!!
A batting display which helped many sleep off their 3rd hangover of the weekend from Lee 'oh arrrrrrrr the Pirate' Burrows and Robin 'actually looking like a batsmen nowadays' Rusell set up the big hitting Barot, Watfa, Leg spinner Munroe and Barry 'can't hit the ball off the square' Letts to win the game with 1 over to go to send the Old Man of Aldenham into an over reaction which included cartwhells, round offs, fist pumps and some robot dancing.
The game finished a fantastic and successful tour and big thanks have to go out to Pete Munroe for all the organisation, Jerry for the fines and the Wags for putting up with all of us and the in game snacks enjoyed by everybody.
