Match report A wet pitch meant it was more about persiverence than quality which was shown well by chris Hewtt who took a decent 3fer making the visitors finish with a deserved 195 having been dropped 4 times.
An opening stand of 111 from the chairmen and Robin 'im never out' Russell meant the A's were well on their merry way to win comfortably. However, in true Aldenham spirit, we like to do things a little different so 82 runs later, the hosts were relying on a batsmen that hadnt batted for 6 months and a bowler that hadnt picked up a bat in 10 weeks. Thankfully a few lusty blows from Jo Swatland got the needed 3 runs so another win for the A's in some gloomy damp conditions. Cricket was the winner!
