Match report In a game Aldenham start with 8 players, Skipper Char was forced to bat first on a fresh hard track that always does a bit for the new ball bowlers.
The usual reliable Simon Letts and Lee Burrows took to the crease looking to bat all day. Unfortunatley Umpire Ward had other ideas giving the pirate leg before having contributed a slashy boundry and not alot else. Cannot remember what happend to batsmen number 3 but the whole team soon made it to the ground, then to the crease then back to the hut with nothing really to mention in the middle. Of course not forgetting a man of the match losing innings from retarded...retired Jerry Knight of 23 having seen his son take a half tracker to the ribs earlier.
The repsponce was firey having enjoyed an epically cheap but cheerful tea courtesey of the previously retired all rounder.
Openers Munroe and Ward making a dent to the top order wicket collomn but defending such a low total you need to catch the oppotunities given. Luckily no oppotunities were handed out to anybody (especially to reliable safe hands Char Munroe who definatley didn't drop an absolute sitter off his own bowling off the opposition danger man AGAIN). A consilation 5 wicket haul from the skip (including 2 wickets with the opposition needing just a single for victory) was all in vein losing by 3 wickets.
