Match report The day started in the early hours of the morning with 9 out of the 11 players celebrating the chairmen/chairmens wife's birthday in what can only be described as an unforgettable party for so many reasons!

The game was very forgettable for some of the Parishioners, but fortunately the bowling of Char 'keep your mouth shut' Munroe weighed in with a ropey looking 5 wicket haul (dedicated to his dad on Fathers day) restricted the opponents to 173 off their allocated 40 overs.

A special mention has to go the Rickaz Nawaz for his fantastic display in the field with 2 catches and a stunning run out. Also Nic Hale rejecting a Fathers day surprise having seen his son find the edge of the batsman's bat but decided to snuffle his stablemates opportunity and dropped the tough chance.

After a great tea, the skipper (boasting about his triumphant evening the previous night) looked around his team for energy and enthusiasm to chase the runs down confidently and was searching for a long while as all he could see was that most of his squad had what can only be described as 'hit the wall'
The team was rescued by a somewhat patient innings from Itty Haque, Darpan Gorsia and out of form Chris 'out of form' Munroe.

The winning runs were secured thanks to man of the match Char Munroe after a ropey looking Chris 'wake me up when I'm in' Hewett reached 29 but who still managed to miss a straight one.

The day was concluded in the bar with half the team sipping J2O's and the other half leaving early.
