A reminder that next Thurs (20 Nov) is our Annual General Meeting. 2000hrs Start – please be prompt as there is a lot to get through.
This will be an opportunity to:
1. Review the season gone – What was good, what was bad, what are the Captain’s concerns, what do they think needs to be different for next year? Captains’ Lead.
2. Consider fixtures/opposition for next year – Fixture Secretary Lead.
3. Identify any equipment or grounds/pavilion requirements – Vintage Whitehead Lead
4. Review the annual accounts – Vintage Whitehead Lead
5. Consider match fees and membership costs – Vintage Whitehead Lead
6. Discuss selection policy, player availability and the nutty problem of player recruitment – Chairman and Sen Bala Lead.
7. Discuss and decide on appointments for the coming season – Chairman’s Lead
8. Any other business that you wish to raise – Chairman’s Lead.
You are reminded that all club appointments are up for re-election/appointment – Chairman, Fixture Secretary, Head of Selection, Accountant, Secretary, Web Manager, Saturday and Sunday Captain. If you wish to stand for any of these appointments please ensure you notify the Chairman via email by next Tues (18 Nov) evening.
If you are unable to attend but wish to raise an issue for consideration please let me know and I’ll raise it on your behalf.
If you are unable to attend but wish to stand for a committee position please let Simon Letts know and he’ll represent you on the evening.
