Josh Bazeley

Aldenham CC occasional.  Right hand bat and bowl. With aspirations to be a wicketkeeper....

Would rather be playing rugby!

Matt Bazeley
Aldenham player since 2006. Right hand bat and talented up and coming off-spin bowler!
Lee Burrows

Apart from 1 abortive season in the late 80’s I hadn’t played a match since the late 70’s. However, thanks to meeting up with old school chum &  ACC’s ‘ledge’ Dave Bickley in 99, found myself drawn in, 14 season & counting. Best seasons so far have been 2005/6 & a committed 500 run 2011. Last year was not so good but I’m hoping to make up for that this season ….. the clock is ticking!

Chris (Baz) Burton
Have played for ACC since 1983 and opened the batting for many years. Captained for 5 or 6 seasons in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Now, in my cricketing dotage, my speciality is slow-medium paced 'tempting' bowling and fielding anywhere the ball is unlikely to come.
Richard Doughty
Wily old spin bowler with a penchant for Flow Charts, more likely to be falling asleep at inoppurtune moments than taking wickets. Guess who wrote this?
Michael Glover
I'm just happy to be part of this wonderful club and to be friends with these wonderful people. Maybe one day I'll learn how to bat/bowl, but until then, I'll just enjoy the company.
Nic Hale
Been at the club so long I cannot remember when I joined...........

Senior player with senior pace.

Commonly known as the Horse (harsh) but now Pony is playing its OK

Tim Hale
All the best attributes of Ian Botham, Freddie Flintoff and Ben Stokes to make the perfect all-rounder
Chris Hewett
Left arm bowler, part-time spinner, beer lover, short-term batsman, oh, and Saturday skipper.

I've been at this club of parish heroes all my life. I have nothing better to do with my time, but nor would I want to.

Colin Hewett
Aged 'has been' ...
slightly younger than the old man of Aldenham
disappointed that the 'playing roles' don't include a category of 'none of the above'
wants to 'feature' with Jerry on a Saturday!
Rich Kirby
I joined the club as a useful all rounder in the late 1980`s. Now I am less useful but more of an expanding rounder!
I became the social secretary arranging events outside the club and later became a director of the Aldenham Social club to ease the relationship with our landlord.
After several knee surgery including the replacement of my right knee, On the pitch I am known as the "bionic man". I returned to playing last season. Full of pleanty of enthusiasm but less on the skill side I was glad to join in the most important part of our club the good spirit and comradship, that has seen us grow with the developement of our youth from family members into a very competant side. As Managing Director of The Digital Office UK Ltd, and with the support of my general Manager Peter Munroe we started sponsoring the club as a way of putting back into our team the benefits we have received by trading with club members over the last decade.
I was honoured to be asked to be President of the club last year and inspite of my batting performance last year enjoy the sporting and social aspect of the group. Last weekend for example the members and guests attended our company New year celebration on the Thames boat the Mercia. Scam 69 played and a great party was had by all.
Julian Knight
I joined Aldenham Cricket Club in June 1988 , following a mercy mission for Alan Cripps. A desired repair of windscreen wipers by Pete Munroe , was followed by a 22 run defeat from Essendon.24 seasons later i am still enjoying my time at the home of Cricket. My Aldenham heroes include SM Orvis , Dr Death , Cossack , Mcvicar and Alain St Germain.
Simon Letts
The Chairman - opening bat and specialist square leg fielder!  Played since circa 2000 after fifteen years out of the game - and it shows!!
Dan Morgan
So I arrived at The Mighty Parish in 1994 having played  for a league side since leaving school and I very soon realised what a club I has ascended to. Not only a good standard of playing on the field but a real feeling of belonging, off it too. I'm honoured to play for ACC
Charlie Munroe
Been at the club all my life and am currently Sunday skipper aswell as 'Midweek Team Co-ordinator'. There is some very good and very bad banter which makes the club very unique and special...ACC!
Pete Munroe
Club 'Keeper!
Robin Russell
Former slow right arm bowler turned turgid opening bat.
Sachin Sanghvi
SACHIN the names says it all.

Stylish Right handed batsman. Got all the shots in the book. Attack from ball one!
Michael Ward
Joined the Mighty Parish back in 2003 when encouraged by my good friend Martyn Burrows aka 'Chuck Norris' to come down for a net.

Consistently inconsistent off-spinner with a penchant for sandwiches and power-hours.

Aldenham heroes include Andrew Hon and Ian 'Dr Death' Gooding, but there is only one Andrew Naudi!
Tanios Watfa
I made my debut in 2010 before joining the club for the 2011 season. Injury prone former all rounder now primarily a batsman. 2013 & 2015 highest runscorer.
David Whitehead
Generally known as Vintage, I joined the club in 1981 and enjoyed a 30 year career including 3 years as Sunday captain. Although I used to be quite good scoring 1,000 runs in six consecutive seasons in the 90's my contributions are now limited to pitch preparation and acting as club treasurer.
