Match report Aldenham bounced back from the disappointment of last weeks abandoned game with a dominant display over Berkhamstead IV's.

Having lost the toss, stand in skipper Simon was asked to field. Opening with Chewit from the top end and somewhat surprisingly with Wardy from the bottom, Aldenham began to make inroads into the Berko top order, with Chewit picking up 2 wickets.

Berkhamstead, despite some resistance, never really looking like setting an imposing total and when youngster Julian Knight stepped in to mop up the tail in spectacular fashion (3.1 overs, 3 wickets for 4 runs), Aldenham were set 117 to chase.

Following a superb as always Jo Letts Tea, Skipper Simon and returning Baz opened the innings. Both looked steady until Simon twisted awkwardly on a pull short, tweaking a groin muscle. The strike could no longer be easily rotated and Baz ended up holing out for 23.

Karan in next managed a similar score before he chipped one up to midwicket bringing Watfa to the crease. Simon then was caught too, but with just enough times left for Aldenham to be reminded of a stereotypical Itty Haque innings consisting of wild swinging and awkward blocking, Aldenham closed out the game to win by 7 wickets
