Match report Persistent rain meant getting a game on was down to determination and patience from both sides. Eventually the rain cleared and a 25 over game was decided between the skippers who went out for the toss on a very damp wicket.

Stand in skipper Watfa lost the toss and was stuck in to bat first. The nature of the track and some poor decision making led to Aldenham struggling to 95 all out with Joe Hensman top scoring.

In reply, the A's made a bright start with Dicky and Amit bowling tight opening spells. The A's fought valiantly but as the pitch dried out in the afternoon sun, 95 proved to be short of a truly competitive total.
