Match report Aldenham finally opened their account for the season with a win in a game that for all love and money looked like it was going to be claimed by the weather.

Char won the toss and elected to stick the Tossers in on the particularly damp wicket. Bowling was tight and runs proved hard to come by, Michael Ward cashing in on Robin Russell's excellent fielding form to take 4-28 as the Tosser's were bowled out for 122.

The going didn't prove a whole lot easier in Aldenham's innings, Matt Bazeley top scoring with 29 as the A's slowly stumbled over the line with a few overs to spare.
