Match report So near but yet so far came to mind walking off the pitch and the famous 'we are a chasing side' saying was repeated. Having had Hadley Wood Green nine wickets down with sixteen overs to bowl and having tried all available bowlers, Aldenham were unable to break the last pairing and ended in a draw. Great bowling from Michael Ward deserves a special mention due to his fantastic figures as well as Tanios 'jug avoiding, squeaky bum' Watfa who failed to make three figures after a match drawing innings.
